Badminton Club offers an easy entry point for students looking to learn everyone’s favorite feathered-projectile racket sport. From seasoned players seeking to hone their competitive edge to newcomers taking a first stab at the backyard sport, the club has a spot on the court for anyone.

Maker Arts Space

The Maker Arts Space in VCAM houses an array of high-tech devices, such as a 3D printer, a laser cutter, and a 3D scanner, as well as lots of design software.

CLUB LIFE: Iconic Step Team

Iconic

Iconic is Haverford’s Step team, founded in 2018 and led by Raveen Green ’22 and Davion Williams ’22. Stepping uses the body as an instrument, and incorporates stomping, clapping, and spoken word to create a beat.

Tri-Co Hackathon

First held in 2014, the Tri-Co Hackathon brings together students from Haverford, Bryn Mawr, and Swarthmore colleges for 24 hours to ideate and create original digital projects that address specific real-world problems.

DocuLabs 2019: The Bicentennial in Philadelphia

Funded by the John B. Hurford ’60 Center for the Arts and Humanities, this year's Summer Doculab Fellows researched the history and memory of Philadelphia's 1976 celebration of the American Bicentennial with Visiting Assistant Professor of English Thomas Devaney, who was inspired by the subject following a course he taught on Philadelphia as part of the Tri-Co Philly Program.
