Students have access to a tremendous intellectual community.
As a Haverford student, you are free to take classes at Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore Colleges, and the University of Pennsylvania offers a Accelerated Masters Program in engineering; study for four years at Haverford, then two or three semesters at Penn, and receive a Bachelor of Science from Haverford and a Master’s in Engineering from Penn.

Students catch the Blue Bus, a free shuttle that runs between the Haverford and Bryn Mawr campuses.

Students have a strong voice in the College's operations.
In addition to independently governing the Honor Code, students serve on hiring committees, manage budgets, and run more than 150 clubs and organizations. They are colleagues in stewarding the institution and experience an unparalleled degree of freedom and responsibility. Reflections of the trust we have in our students include unproctored exams, the absence of RAs in dorms, 24-hour lab access, and the lack of an admission enrollment deposit.
