    On Thursday, November 17, President Wendy Raymond eagerly joined alumni, families, friends, and College benefactors for an event at the California Academy of Sciences. Those in attendance enjoyed the opportunity to gather together over refreshments and then adjourned to a presentation, followed by a Q&A session. The event was generously hosted by Catherine Sah Bannon '93 P'24 and Roy Bannon P'24.

    On Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13, President Wendy Raymond eagerly joined groups of alumni, families, friends, and College benefactors in Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach, respectively. Attendees enjoyed intimate conversations together, over lunch, while also hearing brief updates from Wendy and asking questions about the emerging strategic plan and the current campus climate.

    On Wednesday, November 9, President Wendy Raymond and Professor Anne Preston Zoomed with alums working in Major League Baseball, Josh Byrnes '92 and Nick Perez '19. Attendees were offered an insider view of the play, management, economics, and statistics of baseball, while also hearing the ways in which Haverford influenced the panelists' paths. Vice President of Institutional Advancement Ara Serjoie offered welcome remarks.

    During Family & Friends Weekend 2022, current Friend in Residence Cynthia Terrell was invited to present. As the Founder and Director of RepresentWomen, Cynthia shared thoughts on strategies to advance women's political representation and leadership - with the goal of reaching gender balance in politics in our lifetimes.

    During Family & Friends Weekend 2022, President Wendy Raymond and Assistant Professor of Classics Ava Shirazi participated in a dynamic conversation, showcasing the immense strength of Haverford's faculty, both in and out of the classroom. During this presentation, Ava discussed her approach to making the classics relevant to today.
