  • Wendy Raymond and Linda Strong-Leek

    On Thursday, April 15, alumni, parents, and families gathered via Zoom for a webinar with President Wendy Raymond and Provost Linda Strong-Leek. The webinar centered around discussing diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism initiatives at Haverford, including a progress update on commitments made as part of the resolution to the fall semester student-led strike. David Wertheimer '77, one of two Board of Managers representatives on the Haverford Antiracism Accountability and Advancement Group, served as moderator.

    On Wednesday, March 10, alumni, parents, and families joined Interim Dean Joyce Bylander for a virtual information session about Haverford's new THRIVE initiative. THRIVE stands for: Truth, Healing, Resiliency, Inclusion, and Equity. The session was followed by a Q&A moderated by Associate Director of Alumni and Parent Relations Mark Kehres.

    On Friday, March 5, the Sustainable Fords alumni affinity group hosted a talk with Dr. Clyde Daly, assistant professor of chemistry. Dr. Daly's remarks focused on his research into new methods for analyzing molecular systems and designing sustainable nanotechnology. Hannah Krohn '17 moderated the talk.
