Welcome to your new home away from home, Class of 2027! It is an exciting, potentially overwhelming time, but we're here to guide you through the transition.
Wondering what your address will be, whether Haverford has Resident Assistants, or if you can have a car on campus? We have answers to your residential life questions! Visit Living at Haverford.
Housing Questionnaire (Required)
All new students are required to complete a Housing Questionnaire. Before students can access the Housing Questionnaire, students must “Confirm Personal Details” in BIONIC. Please submit your completed Housing Questionnaire by the posted deadline. Using this information, the College assigns students to Customs groups in one of the first-year residences. While we understand there are numerous reasons students might want to request a specific residence hall, we place a greater value on the people who will shape your community rather than the building in which you will be living.
- This questionnaire is to be completed by the student. Please do not have your parent/guardian, family member, etc. fill this out on your behalf.
- Answer honestly. We use this information to learn about you. Based on what you tell us about yourself, we seek to create diverse and compatible halls, roommates, suitemates, etc. It is essential that you are honest. For example, if you are very neat but you respond that you are really messy in the hopes of getting a single room, you may end up matched with a roommate who responded that they are also messy.
- All housing is designated smoke-free. Smoking of any kind, vaping, and/or the burning of incense is not permitted.
- Incoming first-year students sometimes have individual needs or circumstances that warrant special housing consideration. Please visit Access and Disability Services for information and procedures for requesting housing accommodations.
Housing Questionnaire Deadline: July 1, 2023
Note: Students should wait 24 hours after confirming their personal details in BIONIC before completing the Housing Questionnaire.
You will also need to complete the ADS Housing Accommodation Form by July 1, 2023 if any accommodations are required.
