CPGC Fellowships are funded opportunities for Haverford students. CPGC Fellowships support summer internships coupled with holistic preparation and skill development. Internships may occur anywhere in the world and in any major or sector, though they all intersect with the themes of peace, justice, inclusion, and sustainability. Fellowships provide a $4,000 summer stipend, and may also include funding for necessary costs to complete the summer experience specific to air travel, accommodations, food, and needed vaccinations, passport or visa fees.
The summer fellowship includes preparation, intentional reflection, skill-building, and cohort learning during and after the internship.
Cohort and community are vital program components of this fellowship. The CPGC is rooted in the wisdom and action of community-led social change networks, and encourages us to learn from one another every summer across diverse experiences, identities, and social and environmental concerns.
When applying for CPGC Fellowships, Haverford students are also eligible to apply for an enhanced, full-year fellowship through the Philadelphia Justice and Equity Fellowship.
Summer 2024 COVID Guidance: The CPGC follows national, state, municipal, college, and community partner guidance.
