2021-2022 Presidential Tour
Details
Beginning in New York, in December of 2021, President Wendy Raymond is leading an event series to meet with alumni, families, and friends of Haverford in cities across the U.S.—offering opportunities to gather together, hear College and strategic planning updates, and ask questions. The tour will end with a capstone event, taking place on Haverford's campus during Alumni Weekend 2022. That presentation will be recorded and shared at a later date for all those who were unable to join us at an in-person event.
Tour Recap
President Raymond began by introducing herself, her first opportunity to do so in-person for many members of the community. The event's main topic of discussion centered around the current strategic planning process. Haverford's last strategic planning effort, the "Plan for 2020," resulted in important programmatic and campus master planning recommendations that were brought to life during the Lives That Speak fundraising campaign.
You can learn more about the evolution of the Strategic Plan—and it's emerging themes including enriching a vibrant learning community; structural change toward equity and inclusivity; reciprocal community connections; and sustainability and action in planetary crisis—at hav.to/strategicplan. We welcome your feedback and input into the planning process through this form.
