Pre-Health Advising

Bachelor's Degree, including foundational pre-health course requirements.

Explore the medical profession, pursue relevant clinical experience with patients, gain professional experience in full-time jobs, and strengthen candidacy for medical school.

Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Medical Schools include both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training.

Advanced hands-on training in a chosen medical specialty (e.g., internal medicine, anesthesiology, dermatology, surgery).

More advanced, specialized training after completion of residency to further develop expertise.

All practicing physicians must consistently pursue educational training to learn about new medical advances and/or maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical medicine and best practices.
