Haverford History majors go deep into the stacks at the new Lutnick Library.
History is essential to a free and enlightened citizenry and forms a cornerstone of the liberal arts education at Haverford College. Our varied curriculum encourages students to analyze and interpret the past from many different perspectives and to recognize their own role in writing “history.” History majors pursue creative studies of the past grounded in careful analysis of historical sources.
As the first recipient of the new Kevin Jones ‘94 Career Development Fund, the history major interned this summer at Heritage Frederick, the archive and museum of Frederick County, MD.
