List a detailed description of this specific campus job. | The Facilities Department seeks a Groundskeeper summer worker to perform the duties and responsibilities required of this role. Duties include: ● String trimming walkways / tree rings ● Mowing lawns throughout campus ● Removing weeds from walkways and flower beds ● Remove unsightly trash and debris from public areas by regularly inspecting grounds. ● Safely operate landscape equipment such as push mowers, backpack leaf blowers, weed whackers and small utility vehicles |
Qualifications: | Must be currently enrolled as a student of Haverford College and is in good academic standing. Applicants should have skills using hand tools and small landscape equipment. Applicants should possess an attention to detail and be able to lift up to 50lbs. Student must be very dependable, have the ability to follow instructions and display a sense of professionalism at all times while on duty. Drivers license required. |
