Student Interns

Allen Gift ' 25 (he/him)
Social Media and Publicity Intern
I'm Allen Gift and I am a first-year from Pottstown, PA (only about an hour from campus). I am hoping to pursue a Physics and Astronomy major and a possible Economics minor. I work on social media and publicity for the CCPA, posting on the CCPA blog and creating the graphics for the Instagram account, in addition to hanging our posters around campus! Outside of the CCPA, I dance with Bounce, a hip-hop focused group, on campus and love engaging with the performing arts, specifically musical theater!

Edgar Leon '25 (he/him)
Event Programming Intern
Edgar Leon is a first-year from Houston, TX pursuing a Computer Science major with minors in Math and Physics. He works at the CCPA office as the Event Programming Intern. Back at home, Edgar loves working with his high school's marching band and jazz band. On campus, he is involved with the Bi-Co Jazz Band and Neuroscience club. He also enjoys gaming, binge watching shows, discovering new food spots, and spending time with friends. I hope to see you in the CCPA office soon! Let's work together to jump start your career!

Rubi Rivas '23 (she/her)
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Intern
Rubi Rivas is a junior from Ewing, New Jersey pursuing majoring in both Biology and Spanish with a concentration in Latin American, Iberian, and Latino Studies. Outside of the CCPA, she’s an intern at the Center for Gender Resources and Sexual Education, a FLI Student Leader for the Chesick Program, a Chesick Scholar, a Questbridge scholar, and a board member for the Alliance of Latin American Students. During her free time, she likes to spend time at the Latinx Cultural Center, play volleyball with friends, dance, participate in theater, and read. Rubi researches ways to ensure that the CCPA is accessible and meets the needs of all students, especially historically underrepresented students.

Dennis Yiaile '24 (he/him)

Dennis Yiaile is a Computer Science Major in the Class of 2024. Dennis serves as the CCPA Employer Relations Intern and assists in managing Handshake, planning and organizing fellowships programs, and posting jobs to Handshake.

Mary Zhou '25 (she/her)
Pre-Professional Advising Intern
Mary Zhou is a first-year from Voorhees, NJ. As an aspiring biology major and health studies minor on the pre-med track, she is involved in the Women in STEM and Pre-Health Society. She also is a board member for the Pan Asian Resource Center. Outside of extracurricular activities, she can also be found working in Lutnick Library as a liaison, Roberts Hall working as an usher, or doing homework in the science library. In her free time, she loves immersing herself in either high fantasy, historical fiction, and thriller novels or a leather-bound classic. She also enjoys listening to music; currently on her Spotify most-played are Kings of Leon, Ariana Grande, Twice, Roosevelt, and Doja Cat. She's visited the CCPA as an advisee herself before, asking about finding an on-campus part-time job, and hopes to see you stop by sometime soon!
