Student Interns

Jacob Chan '24 (he/him)
Advising Intern
Hello! My name is Jacob and I am a current junior at Haverford. I am a Spanish and Linguistics double major with a minor in education and concentration in Latin American Iberian and Latinx Studies. On campus, I am involved in the OAR as a peer tutor for Spanish and Linguistics, a TA for Spanish, and I have served as an RSL! In my free time, I love learning about different languages and cultures (it’s my dream to travel the world!), playing video games, and just hanging out with friends :) Looking forward to connecting in the CCPA!

Santos Diaz '25 (he/him)
DEI Intern
Hello, my name is Santos Diaz and I am a member of the class of 2025. I am an intended Sociology major with a minor in Spanish and a concentration in PJHR. I am a member of the Haverford S-Chords acapella group and the Alliance of Latin American Students (ALAS). I am a lover of all of the arts but my greatest interest is in music. My greatest passion is helping people and while at Haverford I’d like to take advantage of the many opportunities students are offered through offices like the CCPA and CPGC.

Edgar Leon '25 (he/him)
Advising Intern
Hi, my name is Edgar Leon and I am currently a sophomore. I intend to major in Computer Science and minor in Music. This summer, I was the Percussion Instructor at two high schools and taught students percussion pedagogy, music theory, and proper rehearsal techniques. I’m passionate about teaching others and helping others develop leadership skills. During my free time, I’m a volunteer tutor, play video games, compose (usually film scores), and go on Wawa runs with friends. Feel free to stop by the CCPA office to get your resume reviewed, get career advice, or just decompress from stress!

Hunter Logan '23 (he/him)
Social Media & Publicity Intern
Hunter Logan here! I’m a senior English major and Educational Studies minor. At the CCPA, I create many of our flyers, posters, blogs, and social media posts. I also work at the Shipley School, where I lead a hectic afterschool program for ages 4-10. None of these things have much to do with my career, which is filmmaking (writing/directing/producing). In my free time, I spend too much money on coffee and love to go thrifting (mostly for weird mugs, classical records, and books I’ll never read). I also see every movie that is ever released.

Anubhav Sharma ‘23 (he/him)
Advising Intern
Hi! I am Anubhav Sharma. I am a senior majoring in computer science and mathematics. Outside of my work in CCPA, I am Officer of Academics in the Students’ Council, TA for Principles of Computing Systems class, a member of the Customs Committee, and a part of South Asian Society club. I love playing chess and traveling to new places– you will find me walking around nature trail on campus! Happy to help you with anything :)

Paeton Smith-Hiebert ‘26 (they/them)
Office Intern
Hey there! My name is Paeton Smith-Hiebert, and I am a member of Haverford’s class of 2026 from Portland, Oregon. As the CCPA Office Intern, my responsibility is to enter jobs, internships, and events into Handshake, as well as provide assistance to anyone around the office who may need it. On campus, you can usually find me making use of one of the library’s many wonderful study spaces, or working my other job in the Alumni and Family Engagement/ Philanthropy office. In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, and exploring new places around the city. I also love watching movies, playing video and board games, cooking, and listening to music. I hope I’ll see you in the CCPA office soon!
