Admission volunteers raise the visibility of Haverford and provide important personal contact that prospective students and their families hope to find throughout the college search process.
Current Opportunities
Alumni admission volunteers must be able to agree to the Admission Principles of Good Practice when registering as an active admission volunteer.
Interviewing Prospective Students
This year all interviews will be conducted virtually. We will continue to prioritize pairings based on geographic location when possible. The interview is informational and evaluative and your personal contact can make a significant difference for individuals with limited knowledge about the distinguishing features of a Haverford education.
Attending In-Person College Fairs
Many high schools and community centers will organize college fairs to expose students to a variety of options. You may be asked to represent Haverford at a college fair hosted by a high school in your area. Most events will take place in the evening. If you do not feel comfortable attending these events in person due to evolving pandemic circumstances, please let us know if you are asked to attend.
