Receiving ADA Accommodations
Haverford College is committed to promoting equitably accessible programs, activities, services, and overall college experiences for students with Disabilities.
The Office of Access and Disability Services provides housing, dietary, and/or academic ADA accommodations to otherwise qualified individuals with documented disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Students' condition(s) may be physical, learning-related, and/or psychological or in nature.
If students would like to explore ADA or 504 accommodations, please feel free to email us at hc-ads [at] haverford.edu from your Haverford College email account, or you may wish to proactively apply for services. The application consists of the ADA Accommodations Request & Voluntary Disability Disclosure Form for students and the Qualified Healthcare Providers' Form. Any supporting documentation can be emailed by your new Haverford email address to hc-ads [at] haverford.edu, faxed to 1(833)243-2760, or mailed to Access and Disability Services, Haverford College, 370 W Lancaster Ave, Haverford, PA 19041. Please note that the entire application process can take up to one month, so we recommend beginning the process as soon as you are able.

After we have received your documentation, ADS will set up a time to speak with you via a virtual meeting or in person. We want to get to know you, talk to you about how your disability affects you, discuss your needs, answer any questions, and review your documentation. We will work together to determine what is appropriate for you in order to gain an equitable and accessible experience l at Haverford and we will review the next steps in the process.
