Research
My primary research interests are in theoretical and high-energy astrophysics, including accretion astrophysics, asteroseismology, atmosphere modeling and radiative transfer, gravitational wave sources, magnetic field and thermal evolution, and superconductivity and superfluidity. I am a Science Team member of NASA's Neutron Star Interior Composition Explorer (NICER) and a member of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) Scientific Collaboration.
