Patrick Doherty is in his third season as Haverford College’s men’s basketball coach during the 2019-20 academic year. Doherty was hired on May 11, 2017, and he came to Haverford after spending eight seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Lafayette College. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lafayette in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Spanish. Doherty and his wife, Kristen, live in Bucks County and have two children, Maeve and Connor.
