Kimberly Taylor joined the Haverford and Bryn Mawr communities in February 2020 and serves as the Bi-College Title IX Coordinator. In this role, she is responsible for College efforts to address issues related to sexual and gender-based misconduct. She coordinates training, education, response, and compliance for students, faculty and staff.
Before her arrival on campus, Kim spent 19 years at Ursinus College as the Associate Dean of Students and Title IX Coordinator. Her areas of responsibility included campus safety, emergency preparedness, student conduct, prevention and advocacy, and crisis response. She has been a frequent presenter at local and regional training events on topics including personal safety, rape culture, and gender equity. While at Ursinus, Kim developed a campus-wide program to provide support, outreach, and education to the college community. During her time there, she also served as Director of Campus Safety, Assistant Director of Residence Life, and Assistant Softball Coach.
Kim obtained a B.A. from West Chester University and an M.Ed. in Student Development and College Counseling from the University of Delaware. She is currently pursuing her law degree at Rutgers Law School. A native of Delaware, Kim resides in South Jersey with her rescue vizsla, Sophie. When not reading case briefs or cheering on all Philadelphia sports teams, she enjoys biking, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends (including the 4-legged kind).
Due to Kim's Bi-College position, the best and most efficient way to contact her is via email: ktaylor4 [at] haverford.edu. She is happy to meet in person or via Zoom, at the comfort of each individual.
