After many years as an independent bookseller (most of them spent as Manager of the Haverford College Bookstore), I switched gears and joined the library staff as the Acquisitions Assistant.  I thoroughly enjoy using my skills and working with our subject librarians to obtain a wide variety of books for the library's collection. With our fantastic student colleagues, I receive and prepare the incoming shipments for cataloging before we make them available for our faculty, staff, and students.

When we're not watching British crime dramas, reading, or looking after our household of rescued cats, my partner and I head for England where we visit friends, attend music festivals, and hike the Yorkshire Dales.
