Hiroyo is the Director of Instructional Design and Technology Services at Haverford College. The Instructional Design and Technology department provides instructional design & technology, classroom technology, digital media, and AV support. She was the Director of the Language Learning Center at Haverford College from 2003 to 2010. Prior to joining Haverford College, she worked as the Interim Director of the Language Resource Center at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
Hiroyo holds an Ed. M. in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University and M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL) from Saint Michael’s College.
Originally, she is from Japan. She first came to the United States as an exchange student to Furman University. Before moving to the United States, she was a secondary school teacher in Japan.
