My background is in American history, material culture studies, and archival work. My Ph.D in the History of American Civilization is from the University of Delaware, my M.A. in American Material Culture is from the Winterthur Program at the University of Delaware, and my B.A. in History is from Wesleyan University.  My research and professional interests include food history, information access, archival description, and the history of gender and capitalism. If you want to have a long conversation about the history of work and identity, I'm your person.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, finding new things to eat, doing crossword puzzles, and playing with my cats.
