Amanda will be teaching remotely for Spring 2021. She is available for Zoom meetings day and night -- just email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule.
Amanda has been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Linguistics at Haverford since 2017. She has also taught Discrete Math in the Computer Science department. Amanda's current research focuses on adverbs in all domains, especially their syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistic properties. She is also interested in experimental and mathematical approaches to syntax and semantics more broadly, as well as typology and lexicography. In addition to teaching at Haverford, Amanda is a computational lexicographer for the National Institutes of Health.
