Experience Philadelphia—Engage With the City
The Tri-Co Philly Program is a semester-long program that provides students both curricular and co-curricular activities in Philadelphia.
Current and rising sophomores, juniors and seniors may apply to the program. Students in the program take two Philadelphia-focused courses in the city and participate in monthly cohort activities to connect with Philadelphia and fellow students across the Tri-Co. Tri-Co students outside of the program cohort may enroll in one of the program’s courses. Travel expenses related to Tri-Co Philly Program classes and cohort activities are covered for all students.
For more information, contact Calista Cleary (ccleary [at] haverford.edu).

Due to disruptions related to the pandemic, the program will not have a cohort of students in Fall 2021, but will offer two stand-alone classes in the city. Tri-Co students can register for these classes as they would any Tri-Co course. In Spring 2022, the full program – with a cohort of students taking two courses (from a choice of three) and participating in monthly cohort activities in Philadelphia – will resume.
Location
Students will enroll in urban-focused courses from different academic disciplines taught by Tri-College faculty in Philadelphia.
Faculty
Grants are designed to enrich curricular content of an on-campus class by facilitating student experiences in the city.
