The Special Events Committee for Students (SECS) is an event planning committee designed to promote a vibrant campus life not only by planning unique and exciting events, but also by making it easier for Haverford individuals to imagine and create their own. SECS works with clubs, organizations, and affinity groups to plan campus-wide events. The committee can assist with the planning and execution of the event at any level of involvement that the club or individual desires.

Funding: Organizations and individuals can request funding from SECS through the SEF form, located in Engage under Forms. For more information on how to request funding, email hc-sef [at] haverford.edu.

Co-Planning: SECS can help you get your event idea off the ground. Submit your event ideas by email at hc-secs [at] haverford.edu. When submitting your idea, please describe the event in as much detail as possible and indicate whether or not you would like to participate in the planning process.

Event Management: We can assist with set up/take down, planning, and promoting your event. For any questions or concerns regarding event planning, please email hc-secs [at] haverford.edu.
