QHouse
The QHouse is a residential and community space for students invested in the histories, legacies, liberation, and celebration of LGBTQ+ communities.
The QHouse community was established in 2017 following a two-year long advocacy led by students and representatives from the Center for Gender Resources and Sexuality Equity (GRASE), formerly Women*s Center, Sexuality and Gender Alliance, and the Office of Race and Ethnicity Education, formerly known as Office of Multicultural Affairs. The QHouse community is intentionally created to reclaim and reimagine ideas of home in a world where many LGBTQ+ people may not have access to live authentically as their whole selves at home. The residents, led by co-heads, work in collaboration with GRASE in developing regular programs to support safety, intersectionality, joy, and community.
