The Writing Center at Haverford College fosters a culture of writing that includes conversation with peers and faculty members at all stages of the writing process.
The Student Arts Fund help students pursue creative interests that build upon and go beyond the offerings of our formal curriculum.
Every year, Haverford hosts guest speakers through programs such as Distinguished Visitors and Young Academic Alumni Lecture Series. These lectures, classroom visits and workshops enhance and supplement the core curriculum.

Associate Professor of Physics Suzanne Amador Kane and her student research team used bird-mounted cameras to examine how falcons pursue their prey, which appears in the current issue of The Journal of Experimental Biology.
More than 40% of Haverford students participate in varsity athletics such as our women’s outdoor and indoor track & field teams.
