Enjoy Ryuichi Sakamoto, one of the most innovative and captivating pianists of our time (since 1970s). Though widely known for his techno contributions to the band YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra), his music has fermented with age into a more peaceful genre, an ambience the world has not heard. We shall explore the images that Sakamoto plants in his pieces. Imagine space, a Japanese garden, a studio room at midnight... and enjoy.

VCAMbient is a weekly curated series in which music–played live or via recordings by members of the Bi-Co community–will play at low volume Wednesdays noon-1pm in the VCAM Lounge.
