Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2744 International law is a system of norms by which states regulate their treatment of each other and of each other’s citizens. But many say that it is nothing more than diplomats making promises they intend to break at the first opportunity. Are they right, or can international law help bring order, peace, and justice to world affairs? This course will help students answer this question by exploring the history, structure, and principles of international law.
