Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2476 This course introduces students to major debates and issues within the interdisciplinary field of Feminist and Gender Studies. We will explore what feminist scholars have illuminated about the construction of gender and sexuality in multiple historic, present-day, and global contexts. Students will examine feminist debates about how race, class, and religion shape gender and sexuality in unequal ways. And, students will develop the skills to analyze how gender and sexuality have been regulated, reinforced, and transgressed in diverse settings.; Enrollment Limit: 25; Lottery Preference(s): Gen/Sex concentrators, then first years and sophomores.
