Additional Course Info | Class Number: 2216 Cities can be considered ecosystems whose functions are highly influenced by human activity. This course will address many of the living and non-living components of urban ecosystems, as well as their unique processes. Using an approach focused on case studies, the course will explore the ecological and environmental problems that arise from urbanization, and also examine solutions that have been attempted. Prerequisite: BIOL B110 or B111 or ENVS B101. Approach: Course does not meet an Approach; Haverford: Natural Science (NA) ( ) Enrollment Cap: 20.
