Additional Course Info | Class Number: 1113 The often-praised achievements of the classical cultures arose from the realities of day-to-day life. This course surveys the rich body of material and textual evidence pertaining to how ancient Greeks and Romans -- famous and obscure alike -- lived and died. Topics include housing, food, clothing, work, leisure, and family and social life. Approach: Cross-Cultural Analysis (CC), Inquiry into the Past (IP); Haverford: Humanities (HU) ( ) Enrollment Cap: 40.
