Additional Course Info | Class Number: 1517 This course will explore some of the key historical figures, events and inventions that shaped Ancient Near Eastern societies and traditions. We will consider the impact that the modern disciplines of ancient near eastern archaeology and history have had on our understanding of this region. We will also discuss how the ancient history and more recent colonial past of this region has impacted upon and shaped our modern interpretations of this region.
