You may take up to three courses in the Penn MBE program as part of your undergraduate curriculum, whether or not you have officially applied to the MBE program. There is no additional financial charge for these courses. A GPA of 3.5 is required to apply to the Penn program. You can apply at any time, even after you have completed those three courses. The admissions decision is based on your undergraduate academic record.
Nine courses in all (including those taken while a Haverford undergraduate) are required to complete the requirements for the MBE degree. The additional six courses you will need to complete to earn your MBE is spent at Penn after graduation. You will pay Penn’s tuition for those additional courses, however many students will get a job at Penn to help supplement those costs. The MBE program will help you find a job, and most jobs at Penn provide tuition benefits.
