Since 2011 College Communications has produced a unique homepage each weekday to spotlight the rich diversity of Haverford's academic programming, extracurricular offerings, campus culture, and community members' accomplishments.
Biology superlab is designed so that students get first hand experience using techniques and equipment commonly used in graduate labs and research facilities; however, what really makes superlab special is the independence the professors give.
In the academic context, the Honor Code engenders an immediate sense of trust and colleagueship between students and faculty and creates a relaxed, personal atmosphere.
The Fine Arts at Haverford emphasize the individual. Studio classes are small and all students—from beginners to declared majors—receive individual, focused instruction, and are encouraged to develop the physical and critical skills necessary to create art.
The denizens of Lloyd Hall have once again festooned each entry with lights in celebration of the season. Time to cast your non-binding (but fun anyway) vote for best effort.

The combined forces of the freshmen from the Haverford College Apartments, Tritton Hall and Kim Hall (competing under the newly created moniker South Campus) proved unbeatable at this year’s Dorm Olympics.

The English department offers courses in the literary traditions of the English-speaking world. The department aims to develop in its students the ability to respond to texts thoughtfully and critically, and to articulate those responses in clear and fluent English.
John James Audubon’s The Birds of America: From Drawings Made in the United States and Their Territories is considered an artistic and scientific masterpiece. In addition to two first-edition sets produced between 1839 and 1844, the College possesses a pen-and-ink sketch of a Red-breasted Snipe with field notes in Audubon’s hand.
