Assistant professor of chemistry Helen K. White led a research trip from Pennsacola, Florida to New Orleans, Louisiana. The trip was funded by the Koshland Integrated Natural Sciences Center and is just one example of student and faculty collaboration.

Through funding from the KINSC, Katie Sheline ’13 was able to join Environmental chemist Helen White as part of a team of scientists on a research cruise that studied the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
