Amolina, a junior from Massachusetts, is thrilled about being a co-manager of the CFG again this year and looks forward to being a part of both in person and virtual programs through the gallery. She is a double philosophy and sociology major and in her free time loves to cook, hike, and spend time with her suitemates. On campus, Amolina leads Students’ Council, helps with productions through Spotlight Theatre, and is one of the Philosophy Department Representatives. She is always looking for a new book or podcast recommendation and is excited to see new faces in the gallery!
Sofia is a senior from New York majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Religion. She is so excited to be a co-manager of the CFG again this year. When she’s not studying in her room, laying in the grass, or drinking copious amounts of coffee, Sofia enjoys reading, listening to music, and podcasts on art history. Sofia also is one of the Departmental Representatives for Philosophy, a Gest Ambassador, and watches movies with the Bi-Co film society. Sofia is so glad to be having in-person events again, and looking forward to all the incredible shows and programming this year holds!
Dhrthi is a first-year student from Mumbai, India, who plans on majoring in Economics and minoring in History. She is super excited to learn from the experience of organizing exhibits and in-person events at the gallery. Dhrthi loves watching all types of sport, especially cricket and Formula 1 racing. In her free time, she likes to sing, dance, and spend time with her suitemates. She is a part of the Quiz Bowl club and the South Asian Society. She is looking forward to meeting everyone who stops by the gallery!
Matt is a senior from Sandwich, MA double majoring in Chemistry and Growth and Structure of Cities. He is now in his third year at the gallery and excited to finally be able to host in-person events again. Outside of the gallery he is part of club soccer, club rugby, and a member in Helen White’s lab, researching pollutants in coastal waterways. In his free time, Matt enjoys watching movies and relaxing with his friends. He is looking forward to everyone stopping in at the gallery and enjoying the excellent exhibits on display.
Fiona is a senior anthropology major (do not ask her about her thesis) and health studies minor from Cinnaminson, New Jersey. She is relieved to finally be back on campus and in person and is excited to be a part of some super cool exhibits this year! Fiona is a captain of the women’s track and field team, an avid reader, and a huge fan of ironic group facebook pages. Stop by the gallery to say hello, bonus points if you bring up Harry Potter, Twilight, Bo Burnham's “Inside” or recommend a niche spotify playlist curated for an extremely specific mood.
Becca is a senior from Malvern, PA majoring in History, minoring in Visual Studies, and concentrating in Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is super excited for her third year at the gallery and is so ready to have more in-person events! When she’s not working at the gallery, she’s usually found working at the bookstore, making new Spotify playlists, making Wawa runs with friends, and running the women’s club soccer team here on campus. Other than writing her thesis (haha), she is most looking forward to finally competing against other club soccer teams and having people visit her in the gallery this year!
Maggie is a senior from NYC majoring in History of Art and minoring in Environmental Studies. This summer she interned at the Gross McCleaf Gallery in Philadelphia, so she is excited to re-join the CFG staff for her third and final year. She is excited for the upcoming gallery shows and to get to know her new co-workers. Outside of the gallery, you can find Maggie building sets for Spotlight Theatre Co., studying in the library, or watching movies with her suitemates.
Ryan is a fourth semester student from Houston who plans on majoring in History of Art and minoring in Chinese language. He is excited to join the CFG team and learn from this new experience working in an art gallery. Ryan spends most of his free time running as a member of the cross country and track and field team. When he is not running or working, he likes to listen to music and is currently getting into drawing.
Riley, a sophomore from California, is a prospective political science major and self-designed visual and journalism studies and psychology double minor. She is relieved to have something more resemblant of a normal college year, and is so excited to help out with the events and exhibits at the Cantor Fitzgerald! Riley is becoming involved in The Clerk, Milkweed Literary Magazine, the Tri-Co Law Review, Tri-Co Chabad, SALT, and Haverford College Democrats. When she’s not overbooking herself, she enjoys hanging out with friends, cooking, thrifting, and trying different art techniques. Feel free to stop by and say “hi”!
