According to a statement from the EU, one of the attackers was killed by guards at one of Bamako’s Azalai hotels. The attackers didn’t manage to enter the headquarters of the military training mission and none of the staff were wounded. The EU military training mission has more than 600 personnel and aims to reinforce the Malian’s army ability to engage in combat operations.
