The pool is closed in the event of rain or electrical storm, and is at the discretion of the lifeguard when the temperature is 75° F or below. If in doubt, check the Swim Club's Mastodon account, or call the pool at 610-795-6113. We are pleased that Niall Doherty will be continuing as Head Lifeguard and Pool Manager. Lap Swim: One 25 meter lane will be available at all times for adults-only lap swimming. Children at the Pool: All children 12 years of age and younger must be supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times. Unless specifically listed on the family membership application, caregivers must check in with the lifeguard upon arrival at the pool. It is recommended that children who are not yet potty trained wear swim diapers covered either by plastic pants or a tight swim suit. Toys and Flotation Devices: Toys and inflatables are allowed in the small (kiddie) pool. NO INFLATABLES allowed in large pool (The only exception would be bathing suits where flotation is sewn in to the suit.) Toys allowed in the large pool: soft balls (when pool is not to crowded), diving sticks, diving rings, and other diving toys that sink, not float.
Guest Policy During Regular Hours: The guest fee is $5.00 per person per visit. Members must pay for their guests at the time they arrive and inform the lifeguard as to their guest’s swimming ability. All guests must be accompanied by their host member(s) at all times. Please remember that a guest is considered to be an individual outside the member household. During membership hours no more than 15 guests are allowed per member. If a member wishes to bring more than 15 guests, the pool may be reserved for use prior to or after membership hours (see "Parties" below). Food and Drink: Food and drinks are allowed at the pool with the following restrictions: No glass bottles. No Alcohol. No food or drink in the pool or on the surrounding pool deck. No chewing gum. Parties: Members may rent the pool outside of regular hours for $100.00 per hour, payble by check or PayPal. Please make arrangements directly with Niall. Location: The pool can be seen on the this campus aerial view. To Join: Last year's members will receive an email regarding membership renewal in early April of each year. New members should contact Douglas S. Davis, the club Membership Secretary, in order to receive the membership materials. Membership Cards: Membership cards are not issued. The lifeguard will confirm your membership status upon your arrival at the pool. NEW! As a service to our members, we will offer a low-cost lifeguard training course this summer. Participants must be 15 years old, with no age cap, and a strong swimmer. Successful completion of the course earns the participant a Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Contact Niall for more information. See you at the pool!
