Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays: 9 a.m – 5 p.m.
Ying is currently an advanced practice Master of Social Service candidate at the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research (GSSWSR) with a focus on Community Practice, Policy, and Advocacy. Their focus of interest is working with the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities and trying to amplify marginalized voices overall. They have worked for Mazzoni Center as a HIV/STI tester and Community Health Coordinator by promoting sexual health and awareness to various universities in the Philadelphia area. They are currently working as Bryn Mawr's Community Based Work Study Coordinator and helping undergrad students find paid internships in the state of Pennsylvania.
They are also a steering committee member for the grassroots organization Philadelphia Asian and Queer (PAQ). PAQ is a group of volunteers that strive to create a space for LGBTQ+ API individuals to come talk about their experiences. They have monthly topic discussions that delve into the various intersections of identities that pertain to being LGBTQ+ and API. While in Haverford, they will be assisting the team with advising students for the CPGC program as the Domestic Fellowship Advisor.
