Savonis graduated with a major in English and minors in Psychology and Spanish. During their time at Haverford, they played on the Women’s Varsity Soccer team, the Ultimate Frisbee team, and sang a capella with the Oxford Blues, while volunteering with Puentes de Salud since summer of 2019. Savonis will be continuing their work with Puentes through their fellowship. As this global pandemic has caused dire food and housing insecurity in the community with whom Puentes is partnered, Savonis will be aiding in their food relief program and in their education program. As their CPGC project, Savonis is focusing on connecting resources on Haverford's campus with the houseless community in Philadelphia, specifically the residents of Camp James Talib Dean (JTD) which includes residential activists demanding housing as a human right.
