Sarah graduated with a major in Biology and minors in Health Studies and Dance (Bryn Mawr College). During her time at Haverford, Sarah helped to develop the Office of Service and Community Collaboration programming. She sits on the Civic Engagement and Social Responsibility Council, which advances the colleges’ social justice mission. Sarah was also a member of Quaker House, was a company dancer with Shift Dance Company, and started a dance-exchange club for Philadelphia-based dance artists. She wants to learn more about liberation initiatives within Philadelphia’s underserved communities and spent her weekends in college working at Mill Creek Urban Farm (West Philly). For her fellowship, Sarah will be working with HIAS PA on the Asylee Outreach team and will also be a part of the Immigrant Advocacy team.
