As an advocate for the value of the liberal arts in the workplace, Laura creates individualized recruiting strategies for regional and national employers who want to “Hire A Ford” for their internship or post-graduate opportunities. She engages with Ford alumni in the workplace and with collegiate recruiting partners such as the Tri-College Recruiting Consortium (Haverford, Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore Colleges) and the Selective Liberal Arts Consortium to maximize the career-related opportunities for Haverford students. Laura also manages Handshake, the College’s career management system for students and alumni. Prior to coming to the college in 1998, Laura worked with the U.S. Government Accountability Office in Chicago and Atlanta as a Federal Program Evaluator and in Human Resources.
