Kim Callahan came to Haverford and Bryn Mawr Colleges in 2014 after working as an Assistant District Attorney for 15 years. For the majority of her career, Kim prosecuted child sexual and physical abuse cases. During her time at the Chester County District Attorney’s Office, she worked in the Child Abuse Unit, the Domestic Violence Unit and the Juvenile Unit. Kim has conducted trainings for law enforcement and other county employees on topics of sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence and juvenile law. She has also been a guest lecturer on child abuse issues at West Chester University, the Chester County Citizen’s Police Academy and was one of the first faculty members of ChildFirst PA, a forensic interview training program. Kim obtained her B.S. from West Chester University and received her J.D. from Widener University School of Law.
