Julia holds a Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Communication Studies and Professional Writing from Bloomsburg University. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Communication Studies with certifications in Higher Education Policy & Student Affairs and Educational Technology at West Chester University; her expected graduation date is May 2020. Before joining the Haverford College community, Julia worked at West Chester University in the Financial Aid Office and in the Center of Contemplative Studies. In her current role as a graduate assistant, Julia works with Nathan Diehl and Kristin Vitacco to assist in various projects and initiatives of the Residential Life Office. Two special projects she has worked on this academic year include a longitudinal benchmarking assessment for Interim Housing and Move-Out and creating a user manual for Haverford's new housing database.
Outside the office and class, Julia spends her time exploring the Main Line/greater Philadelphia area, discovering new podcasts (and cringeworthy reality television shows) and controlling the chaos that comes with adopting two kittens (Lux and Sable).
