Jodi started in the role as the Coordinator of Health Professions Advising in July 2014. She began her career in academic premedical advising in the mid-1980s at the University of Pennsylvania and has spent over 20 years as the leader of Bryn Mawr’s Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program and the Health Professions Advising Office.
As a national leader in the field, Jodi is well known and well respected by medical school admission deans and premedical advisers across the country. She served as president of the Northeast Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NEAAHP) in 2008-09 and as a member of the executive board of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP). Over the years, Jodi has also led numerous task forces and special-interest groups comprising medical school admissions deans, student affairs deans, and premedical advisers and has been the recipient of several prestigious awars both regionally and nationally.
Perhaps most important to the students is Jodi’s personal commitment to advising and supporting students every step of the way—from before their arrival on campus through the medical school/dental school admissions process, enrollment, and beyond.
