Genesis Gonzalez is a clinical psychologist in training at Chestnut Hill College. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Monmouth University. Genesis previously volunteered for the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network’s online hotline, where she supported survivors of sexual assault. Genesis has experience conducting individual, family, and group therapy with children and adolescents at a community-based outpatient center. She also has experience conducting psychotherapy in Spanish.
Genesis takes an integrative approach to psychotherapy to meet each client’s unique needs. She aims to create a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where she can help clients gain greater awareness and insight. Her areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, multiculturalism, relational concerns, and sexual trauma.
In her free time, Genesis loves to read poetry, create music playlists, and travel with family and friends.
