Cecil graduated with a major in Political Science from Haverford and a minor in Education through the Bi-Co Education program. During his time at Haverford, he was a member of the Climbing Club and worked on several voter advocacy projects. Taking an interest in social policy and the legal system through his coursework, Cecil will continue in this field with Philadelphia Legal Assistance. Working in the Unemployment Unit, he will manage a caseload of clients as well as participate in the modernization of Pennsylvania’s Unemployment Compensation System.
Cecil hopes to facilitate the development of resources and contacts that students can use to interact with the city in meaningful, experiential ways, recognizing the ways that COVID-19 has altered our traditional modes of interaction and exploration.
