First-Year and New Student Arrival Information
The residence halls officially open for first-year and new students on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 8:30am.
Arrival Date and Information:
The residence halls officially open for first-year and new students on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 8:30am. Check-in for first year and new students will take place in the Gardner Integrated Athletic Center (GIAC) between 8:30am – 4:00pm. Customs begins at 4:00pm. In preparation for your arrival, please follow entrance and parking instructions that have been sent out via email by Campus Safety.
First-Year and new students will go through check-in on Wednesday, August 29. This is a mandatory process which students must complete to be considered fully enrolled. During check-in you will verify that a number of things have been completed and if not, you will be asked to complete these requirements at that time.
First-Year and New Student Check-In and Schedule:
When: Wednesday, August 29, 2018
Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 3:00pm to allow an hour to complete the registration process.
How: At the Welcome Desk, inside the GIAC, you will be greeted by some of our Customs folks who will give you an individualized Check-In form. They will direct you to your next stop. If you still need to finish up things for Health Services, you will be escorted to Morris Health Services first, and once they have stamped your form you will come back to the GIAC. If Health Services has stamped your form, you will be directed to go inside the arena to complete the check-in process. Feel free to pick up something to eat or drink in the foyer. Then, go to each station, in order, to get the necessary signature/stamp saying you’ve completed each requirement. Finally, hand in the Check-In form at the end.
1. Customs Week Schedule
New students will pick up materials from the Customs Committee including the Customs schedule
2. OneCard & Campus Safety
New students who have sent in their photo and form will pick up their OneCard. Those who did not send in a photo and form during the summer will have a photo taken and their OneCard printed here. Also, confirm that you will not have a vehicle on campus
Students pick-up information about connecting their computers to the network.
4. Business Office
All students check to make sure that they have satisfied their student accounts/bills. Students who still need to satisfy their bills can do so here.
5. Room Keys
All students will check-in and pick up their room keys.
6. Residential Life
All students are responsible for reading, understanding, and abiding by all College Policies. Before submitting your completed form, students are required to read two of these College Policies and sign in acknowledgement that they have read, understand and will abide by them.
