Visiting Assistant Professor(s) of Psychology - Part time, Spring 2020
The Haverford College Department of Psychology seeks candidates to teach a total of two courses during the Spring 2020 semester.
Our need is to cover two courses; this need could be covered by one or two people depending on candidate experience, interest, and availability. One of the courses must be Psychology 100, an introductory-level course that includes a broad-based survey of the main sub-disciplines within the field, including biological, cognitive, developmental, social, personality, and clinical psychology. The second course should be an advanced lecture or seminar course in the candidate’s area of expertise. Haverford College is a highly selective liberal arts college in suburban Philadelphia; the department offers a highly collegial environment.
A successful candidate will have a PhD (ABD considered) in Psychology. Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, including description of teaching interests and experience, along with a CV that includes contact information for three references, to http://apply.interfolio.com/69199.
For questions, please contact Jen Lilgendahl, Psychology department chair, email@example.com. Application review will begin on October 15 and will continue on a rolling basis as needed until December 20.
