Visiting Assistant Professor of English
The Department of English at Haverford College invites applications for a one-year full-time visiting assistant professor appointment for the 2019-2020 academic year in any part of the long eighteenth-century--beginning July 1, 2019.
Responsibilities will include teaching a total of five courses, including a writing course, as well introductory, intermediate and advanced courses.
Specialization in Performance Studies, gender/sexuality, and/or theater/drama desirable. Interdisciplinary approaches are welcome. Successful candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, both scholarship and undergraduate teaching. Candidates should have completed the requirements for the Ph.D. by May 2019.
