Haverford College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics to begin Fall 2023.
Haverford College invites applications for a full-time visiting position in the economics department for the 2023-2024 academic year. The visiting professor will teach five undergraduate courses at varying levels and possibly advise senior independent work. Successful candidates must demonstrate an independent and productive research program with the potential to involve undergraduates, effective teaching at all levels of the economics curriculum, and interest and capacity to teach and retain a broadly diverse student body.
Haverford College is a research-intensive liberal arts college with class sizes that support close student-faculty interactions. It is located on an arboretum just outside Philadelphia enabling easy access to Center City Philadelphia, the Philadelphia International Airport, and Amtrak via commuter rail.
Candidates for the position should have completed their Ph.D. by August 2023.
