Haverford College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor in Classics to begin Fall 2023.
The Department of Classics at Haverford College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position to begin September 1, 2023. The successful candidate will teach five classes, including courses in intermediate and/or advanced Latin and/or Greek, and courses in translation that complement and expand our existing curriculum. This position will include the possibility of renewal for one additional year pending a successful review and departmental staffing needs.
Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. and demonstrated evidence of strong teaching. ABD candidates may apply but must also provide assurance of completion of the degree by September 1, 2023.
